Focused on elevating the employee experience, Lockton, the world’s largest independent insurance brokerage, turned to Meyer for interior design services for a renovation and expansion of two West Coast offices.
Meyer provided interior design services for a renovation of Lockton’s existing 9,751 SF office in Irvine, California, focused on maximizing access to exterior views and finishes that reflect the community and its coastal influences.
The 9,400 SF expansion of Lockton’s Seattle office created a cohesive space of nearly 22,000 SF. By expanding to the entire 19th floor and adding additional space from the 18th floor, the expansion not only brought them additional workspace for their growth, but created an exciting new conferencing area for both in-house and client-focused meetings and gatherings.
Unique branding elements, such as artwork, graphic wall coverings and a striking backlit mountain scape are scattered throughout the office to highlight the surrounding landscape, pop culture elements, and Lockton’s company culture.
