After purchasing HSN and Zulily, QVC became the 3rd largest ecommerce retailer in the US and a major international ecommerce player. QVC engaged Meyer to activate and transform their 250,000 SF headquarters campus to support their evolving enterprise focusing on the customer, technology, culture, and brand.
As an international brand and shopping experience experienced by millions, QVC’s brand was central to the design strategy. Their brand embodies the emotions of surprise and delight, sparking joy, making connections, and telling a story. As an evolving company where business is conducted both through broadcast and ecommerce, QVC’s workforce needed an environment that was nimble and flexible. Staying authentic to the brand and programming needs, the new workplace strategy and design currently being implemented is a flexible, agile environment that offers plentiful visual access across all departments to foster connection and curiosity.
