Philly House, formerly Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission, is Philadelphia’s largest and longest-running all-male homeless shelter.
Combining modern best practices with Christian compassion, it emphasizes trauma-informed care for holistic, long-term solutions. Meyer, in partnership with Progressive AE, was chosen to design a new addition with 50-70 affordable housing units, a dining hall, meeting rooms, a library, offices, and a new Vine Street entrance, along with renovating the existing five-story building.
