CHOP Souderton

Primary Care Practice

Souderton, PA
Project Details:

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s (CHOP) Souderton location is a 14,000 SF facility designed to support both primary care and behavioral health services. Meyer collaborated with CHOP and developer MEH to establish the building criteria and architectural image, ensuring alignment with CHOP’s rigorous pediatric care standards. The single-story, conventional steel-framed structure features a thoughtfully composed façade and an open-air entrance canopy, creating a welcoming and functional environment for patients and families.

This custom build-to-suit project reinforced the importance of designing healthcare spaces that align with CHOP’s specific care standards while integrating efficient construction methods. Meyer’s collaboration with CHOP and MEH ensured a seamless process from concept to completion, balancing aesthetic considerations with functional needs. The project underscored the value of early planning and coordination to create a purpose-driven facility that enhances pediatric healthcare delivery in the community.
