Brightview Holmdel

Meyer provided full architectural services for Brightview Senior Living’s new community in Holmdel, New Jersey, part of the New York City Metro area and one of the state’s most affluent markets. The 197,000 SF property is situated on 11.44 acres along Route 35, just minutes from the Garden State Parkway, and offers 180 Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care apartments.

Designed with a modern farmhouse aesthetic, the community balances comfort and sophistication while fostering social engagement and wellness. Outdoor spaces include a large amenity courtyard with a designated food truck area and a private courtyard for Memory Care residents, creating both vibrant gathering places and quiet retreats.

A highlight of the design is the indoor pool and wellness area, which reinforces the community’s emphasis on relaxation and rehabilitation. Adjacent to a wellness spa, the pool room features wood ceiling beams, expansive windows and stone detailing, and a door system that opens directly to the rear courtyard, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor experiences.
