New Community Designed by Meyer

Meyer is proud to announce the upcoming opening of The Reserve at Clarkstown, a new community in Rockland County, New York, scheduled to open spring 2026. Meyer provided both architectural and interior design services for the project, shaping a community that balances convenience, luxury, and relaxation.

Developed by Alexander Property Holdings, The Reserve at Clarkstown is ideally located just one mile east of the Palisades Parkway and 2.5 miles north of its interchange with I-287, offering residents seamless access to regional destinations while remaining tucked into a quiet, residential setting.

Nestled on a tree-lined corner site, the community is composed of 127 one and two-bedroom residences distributed across seven three-story, wood-frame apartment buildings. The architecture features pitched roofs and stacked balconies, creating a residential scale and rhythm that complements the surrounding neighborhood. Six of the seven buildings are constructed over podium parking, allowing for efficient site planning while maintaining a pedestrian-friendly environment.

Meyer’s design approach focused on creating a cohesive experience from the exterior architecture through the interior living spaces. The residences are designed to feel light-filled, comfortable, and refined, supporting the active adult lifestyle with layouts that prioritize accessibility, ease of movement, and everyday functionality without sacrificing sophistication.

At the heart of the community is a collection of resort-style amenities designed to encourage connection and wellness. These include a 5,600-square-foot social club, a fully equipped fitness center, and a welcoming community lounge, spaces intentionally designed to foster social engagement while providing residents with places to relax, gather, and recharge.
