Share

Meyer Gives Back’s Senior Living Studio Steppers were at it again for the third year in a row joining more than 6,400 participants and 900 teams at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA for the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s®. The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Over the past two years, the Delaware Valley Chapter walk has become the largest walk of any other chapter in the nation. Leading up to the event, Meyer hosted an in-house raffle to help raise funds for our goal of $2,500. As of the end of November, the Studio Steppers have exceeded the goal by raising $2,821. Thank you to everyone who donated and contributed to this wonderful cause.

“If there is anything I can do to support research and caregivers, I will be there because my family has lost someone to this disease,” said Gabriella Hull, Studio Steppers’ Team Captain, “This year I got to be team captain and it was great to be involved in the process of fundraising and working with the team to meet our goal. A special thank you to Lori O’Brien, our representative from Cambria, for partnering with us on this event and donating a prize basket to our fundraising raffle.”

This years walk is still accepting donations up until the end of 2018, so if you’d like to contribute to Meyer’s team, visit our team page.
