Executive Vice President, Melinda McCann was recently honored with the March of Dimes Salute to Chester County Women of Achievement Frontline Hero Award! Melinda was recognized for her role and involvement in starting a COVID-19 vaccination effort to help Pennsylvania seniors navigate the technological challenges of securing a vaccine appointment, alongside Meyer President, Alicia Karr.

Earlier this year, their story appeared on the front page of The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Daily News, as well as a news interview with FOX News. Combining their passion for helping others and their knowledge of the vaccination registration process, Melinda and Alicia were able to help seniors navigate the complex challenges many faced securing a vaccination slot from the limited Pennsylvania supply early on during the vaccination rollout.

Melinda’s dedication to this endeavor exemplifies a true commitment to the community, especially a demographic that was most likely to need assistance in navigating the technology utilized to secure this crucial public service. We are proud of Melinda for contributing to our community and continuing to share our Meyer culture of giving back.
