The 10th Annual Remodel/Renovation Competition award winners were recently announced by Environments For Aging (EFA). The Meyer Senior Living Studio is pleased to announce that the renovation of the Life Guidance (LG) Dining/Activity Area at Atria Center City in Philadelphia was selected as the bronze award winner in this year’s national competition.

The new 16-unit/23-bed LG neighborhood, a major addition to the community, was fully reconfigured and renovated to allow residents to enjoy a multitude of various programs, lifestyle options and to allow easier mobility and flexibility. The LG Dining/Activity Area project was part of a much larger-scale multi-phased renovation project at Atria Center City.

“Meyer is honored to be recognized as one of the winners for the EFA Remodel/Renovation competition this year. Along with Atria Senior Living, we helped reprogram a portion of the community’s assisted living floor to become a dedicated and secure memory care neighborhood,” said Shannon Remaley, NCIDQ, Director of Senior Living Interiors. “Meyer carefully selected the interior finishes and senior-friendly furniture that was designed to encourage engagement and evoke feelings of home. This fresh and inviting memory care neighborhood will help better serve the residents as they age in place and the growing demand for memory care services.”

As a winner, Meyer will receive bonus coverage of the project in the Fall 2018 issue of EFA magazine.
