Construction has begun on Arbor Terrace Basking Ridge, a 78-unit assisted living and memory care community in Basking Ridge, NJ. Meyer provided architectural and construction administration services for this new community which is projected to open in 2023.
With top-notch assisted living and one-of-a-kind Bridges and dementia care areas designed specifically for seniors living with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia, Arbor staff will tailor care to resident’s specific needs, while they are surrounded in a beautiful environment.
Arbor Terrace Basking Ridge is a development of Braemar Partners and will be operated by The Arbor Company, which operates eight other senior living communities in New Jersey.
The new community will feature:
- 25 assisted living apartments,
- 24 community apartments for seniors who need added cognitive support due to early stages of dementia,
- and 29 dementia care apartments.
All units will feature what the developer calls “resort-style” amenities and services such as housekeeping, personal linen and laundry services and dining. Other community amenities include gathering spaces, a beauty salon and nail spa, as well as on-site therapy and rehabilitation. Concierge and scheduled transportation services will also be available for off-site activities and appointments.
