Meyer announces key executive promotions as we kick off a new 5 year strategic plan. These promotions will lay the groundwork for leadership and firm succession. Alicia Karr is named the new President. As President, Alicia will lead and oversee the overall direction and growth of the firm. Alicia has been with Meyer for 20 years, most recently holding the positions of Executive Vice President and CFO. Alicia is a respected member of the Philadelphia business community and the nonprofit world.

“Since starting my career, I have always wanted to make a difference, an impact in the world. The power of the built environment and design and the impact it has on people is tremendous. This is where I want to be, and I’m honored to be leading this company,” said Alicia.

Norman Liedtke will remain as the CEO and Chairman of Meyer. Alicia’s promotion allows Norman to focus on senior level strategic growth initiatives.

“Being the president of Meyer means consistently juggling all aspects of our business—focused on all things at all times. Alicia does this with ease and aplomb,” said Norman Liedtke.

Melinda McCann has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Revenue & Strategy. With 16 years at Meyer, Melinda will lead the strategic growth initiatives for existing and new client sectors, markets, and services. Mike Stanczak, AIA has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Employee Engagement & Operations. With 22 years at Meyer, Mike will head internal strategic initiatives involving recruitment, retention and operations management. Chris Cruikshank has been promoted to Vice President, Finance. Alicia, Melinda, Mike, and Chris are joined by Debra Breslow NCIDQ, Phil Burkett AIA, George Wilson AIA, Shannon Remaley NCIDQ, and Dan King AIA, to make up Meyer’s Executive Leadership Team.

Meyer’s architecture, interior design, and branding business continues to grow in both the corporate and senior living sectors.  With over 80 people, we are working with clients in over 15 states. Meyer is a 49% ESOP.
