Interior Designer – Living Studio

Meyer is seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer with 4–6 years of experience to join our Living Team. Preferred experience includes projects in senior living, multifamily, and/or hospitality. The ideal candidate will be organized, creative, and collaborative, with strong design sensibilities and a solid foundation in interior documentation and material application. 

The candidate will work closely with senior staff to support the design and documentation of Living projects and contribute to the development of innovative and thoughtful environments. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute to the design and development of Living interior projects from concept through completion. 
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project goals, translating them into effective and aesthetically compelling design solutions. 
  • Support the development of comprehensive design concepts including space planning, furniture layouts, finish palettes, lighting concepts, and more. 
  • Produce and coordinate construction documentation, including drawings, interior detailing, specifications, and schedules. 
  • Participate in site visits to assist with design implementation, construction administration, and FF&E installation oversight. 
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure cohesive execution of the design intent. 
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials, and best practices to inform design approaches. 
  • Manage daily design tasks, timelines, and coordination efforts effectively as part of a project team. 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • 4–6 years of professional interior design experience, ideally in senior living, multifamily, and/or hospitality sectors. 
  • Strong conceptual design and creative problem-solving abilities. 
  • Proficiency in Revit is required; experience with Enscape, InDesign, and other design software is a plus. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. 
  • Detail-oriented with a well-developed eye for design, color, materials, and finishes.
