Meyer reimagined an electrical generation station into a headquarters for the Philadelphia Union. Originally built in 1919, The Wharf has undergone renovations to become the headquarters for several businesses, including the administration offices for MLS team, the Philadelphia Union.

As you enter the reception, you are greeted by one-of-a-kind stadium seating and custom branding. Down the corridor is additional ancillary seating and soft furniture. Train cars line the wide walkway, paying homage to the building’s history.
The building’s history resurfaces as a curved arch and steel structure within the space. The main corridor leads to a high-top seating area, a collab space for all building tenants to utilize.
The fitness center encourages movement and wellness for tenants and employees within the complex. Wall graphics reflect the brand of the Philadelphia Union, with prime views of Talen Energy Stadium right outside the window.
The locker rooms feature custom tile design and Class A finishes.
The large cafeteria provides a variety of seating options — u-shaped custom soft seating within semi-private window nooks, high-top seating, and booths with live wood textures. Custom branding on the far wall adds color and a focal point to the light and bright space.
Within the Philadelphia Union space, Meyer designed a reception with exposed brick and branding walls, a collab area with a custom-built soccer ball feature wall, conference rooms, private offices, and open workstations and lunch room with views of Talen Energy Stadium and the Commodore Barry Bridge.
