In late September, Meyer celebrated our 40th anniversary with some of our most tenured and relationship-driven clients. The event, held in Conshohocken, brought together nearly 100 clients and staff building on past and present relationships.
Each client was invited to reminisce on our history together through conversation, signature cocktails, and a 100+ piece timeline of milestones. The present-day successes were sealed with 100 signatures surrounding a glass mosaic of the Meyer logo mark, representing the many individuals that continue to shape the bright future of our firm.
During the evening, several clients graciously toasted Meyer with stories of their project experiences and relationships. Mike Anastasio, President at Bala Consulting Engineers, opened the floor as one of our most tenured clients, dating back to 1987. Mike inspired guests with the story of CEO Norman Liedtke‘s beginning at Meyer, “He wanted to take on the iconic firms in Philadelphia… now cycle forward, where are all of those icons today? You don’t see them.” Joe Williamson followed, representing his former role as Chairman of Brandywine Senior Living and Meyer’s first Senior Living client. The same night as his wedding anniversary, Joe said to the crowd, “Whether it’s marriage or business… honesty and integrity, positive attitude through transparency… All those things are so important. That’s Meyer. That’s forever.” Perhaps the most eloquent of toasts was given by Carrie Sayers, Director of Real Estate Planning at Independence Blue Cross, when she said, “The relationship with Meyer has been unbelievable over the past few years… One design is better than the next.” Several other key individuals toasted Meyer including David Dickson of Colliers, Jason Honesty of Exeter, Dennis Durkin of Exeter (formerly CBRE), Brian O’Neill of O’Neill Properties Group, and Alicia Karr of Meyer.
Meyer is thankful to everyone in attendance, our dedicated team members, and our clients and business partners that continually share in our success!
