FF+E PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST 

Meyer is seeking an organized and detail-oriented FF+E Procurement Specialist to join our procurement team. In this role, you will support our FF+E Procurement Manager in managing furniture, fixtures, and equipment procurement for our Senior Living and Multifamily projects. You will serve as a key member supporting all aspects of FF+E procurement from initial research and specification through final installation. Working closely with designers, vendors, and fabricators, you’ll ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget while developing expertise in project coordination, vendor management, and product procurement. This is a hands-on position that includes both office-based coordination and on-site installation oversight. Candidates must be able and willing to travel as needed for project coordination and site visits. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Support the FF+E Procurement Manager on all procurement activities and projects 
  • Research, evaluate, and specify finishes, furniture, and product options aligned with project budgets and manufacturers’ capabilities 
  • Collaborate with design staff, fabricators, and installers on product selections, shop drawings, and specifications 
  • Develop project furniture budgets and review bid sheets/proposals for accuracy 
  • Input, verify, and manage procurement information in Meyer’s software (Spexx/Expedite) 
  • Process purchase orders, sales orders, and vendor/client invoices 
  • Track shipments, order accessories, and coordinate logistics with suppliers 
  • Oversee FF+E installations on-site, ensuring quality adherence; prepare punch lists and post-installation documentation 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Knowledge of FF+E materials relevant to Senior Living and Multifamily markets 
  • Familiarity with furniture vendors and manufacturing partners 
  • Experience with procurement software (Spexx/Expedite or similar platforms is a plus) 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and manage details with precision 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 
  • Ability to travel as needed for project coordination and site visits 
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
